 "How do I even begin to express my love for Melissa and all she does at Eco Baby Childcare?! Our daughter Avery started at Eco Baby at the age of four months when I returned to work about six weeks ago. Before Avery arrived, we had arranged for her to be cared for at a larger chain daycare center. As the end of my maternity leave neared closer, I became very anxious about having Avery in such a large daycare setting...I feared that she wouldn't get the individual care and love that I wanted for her. Two weeks before I was to return to work, we embarked on a nanny search. In the midst of interviewing nannies, I received a glowing referral for Melissa and Eco Baby...although I didn't think a home daycare would be the best fit for us for some reason, I felt that I should at least visit Eco Baby and know that I explored all of our possible options. Upon meeting Melissa, I immediately connected with her and knew that she was the right person to care for Avery. She is warm and welcoming and has such a positive energy. It was immediately clear that the kids love her and that she possesses a true passion for kids...it is readily apparent that this is her calling in life.

We decided to enroll Avery at Eco Baby...but since I only had one week before returning to work and wanted to spend a week with Avery at day care as a transition, we needed to start two days later! Melissa was super flexible and hurriedly made arrangements on her end to accommodate Avery in the short timeframe we required. In addition to quickly making all of the basic arrangements like ordering a crib, etc, once we started the following week she also made many arrangements to make the environment as comfortable and familiar as possible for Avery.

Knowing that Avery is happy, safe, and well cared for has made my difficult transition back to work a lot easier for both me and my husband...Avery literally lights up each morning when she sees Melissa and her friends at Eco Baby. After spending a week with Avery at Eco Baby myself, I am pretty certain that Avery has more fun at Eco Baby than she does at home! “I learned about Eco Child Outdoor with Nature through a friend who had her child enrolled in the program. At first I was a little unsure of their outdoor nature set up. However, I quickly learned that this is beyond the best care for my child. The teachers are on it!  We were so blessed to find Melissa and Eco Baby. We are a duel employed family and needed fulltime childcare. Like all parents of young children our standards and expectations for the person or persons who would be caring for our children was through the roof. These children are learning how to garden, cook the food they grow and compost the scraps. They are using a variety of explorative sensory modalities to create art, do science experiments, and learn pre academic skills. These children’s lives are being enhanced socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

It is truly rewarding that I and my husband can go to work and know that our young children are cared for in a manner that is comparable to love and attention they receive at home.
